Freshman Year: Joey played both JV and Varsity at SS and RHP at Class A (D 1) Traverse City West High School.
Sophomore Year: Starting varsity lead RHP and SS...All-Conference pitcher 2nd team...ranked 11th overall in state of Michigan by Michigan Baseball Prospects( MBP) and Top Pitching Prospect 2010 showcase...Area Code invitee by Chicago White Sox in Pendelton Indiana.
Junior Year: Joey entered the 2010-2011 year as the lead varsity RHP and starting SS at TC West HS...repeated as a first team All-Conference pitcher...was named to the preseason Perfect Game All-American Team...selected as a Rawling's Top Prospect by Perfect Game...and named to the Rawling's Top Prospect Team at the National Showcase in Arizona.
Personal Information: Honor student taking honors classes who played for Diamonds the last two years as starting RHP/SS...lead pitcher on there 16U team last year. This will be Joey's first year as an Elite player. Former 2 year varsity All-Conference and All-State skier now concentrating on baseball.
